John Wayne Gilliam - Class Of 1975

John Wayne Gilliam

John Gilliam, was a strong, supportive, funny, fun loving person who was a blessing to his family and friends. Anyone who knew John, knew that they couldn't have a better friend. He worked at the Florida Times Union for over 25 years, and retired in 2007. He loved playing golf, computer games (he has conquered many worlds and saved us all so many times haha), supported the Jags, go Gators, and the Green Bay Packers. One of his favorite places was Hooters, also loved the wings. He passed in August 2009 with heart trouble. He was a great guy and is loved and missed by all who knew him.
